THE CRANDALL KITCHEN

Being able to design and create within my own home is so sentimental in comparing to how I help my clients do the same in their home. I have had a vision for my kitchen since we started building and its been so rewarding to be patient as the pieces come together.

Showing you & sharing with you all of the details in our kitchen reveal! Enjoy xo

We upgraded our island to have an extra 12” extension and it makes the biggest difference! I love how large our island is as it makes up for only have a back row of uppers. Its the perfect size for us and very functional and open. The two pendants were what i was most excited for! Black on black on black, yes please! I knew i wanted them oversized vs. 3 smaller light fixtures.

I am completely smitten by our faucet. Oh I wish I had a before picture. Just imagine a chrome garage faucet and thats what it was. This simple hack of switching out your faucet to update a space is magical! Peterson Kitchen And Bath were a dream to work with. They helped me find exactly what we wanted and were so generous in putting this is our home. My favorite feature (that i could obviously live without) is the touch feature. Genius!! This art work really made the space feel complete and whole! I clearly wanted to “go big” and oversize items in the kitchen! These were so affordable from Juniper Print Shop and the frames are ikea which Juniper has a tutorial on how to assemble eble the prints and the frame.

Backsplash. Oh what a beautiful sight this is instead of my strip of drywall. So much texture. So much terrazzo. I have had this secret crush on terrazzo forevvverrr but it is a unique look that hasn’t fit in a clients project. Yet. So i decided to do it in my own home and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I love the neutralness of the pieces, yet i still get some color in the flecks. Would you put terrazzo in your home?!
