HOW TO: GIVE YOUR HOME SOME LOVE THIS FEBRUARY
It’s the month of L O V E + I can’t wait to share with you some of my easy, quick and affordable decorating tips to enjoy the short month of February!
We typically think of paper hearts taped all over, cupids on the windows, etc. etc….(still can’t figure out why Valentines Day decor has to be so… not cute sometimes 😜)
BUT. I have some tricks up my sleeve that will help you feel the love in your home without covering your cupboards with construction paper.
CANDIES
its true, some of the best candies are sold this month (cinnamon hearts ♥️ ) we keep a small bowl on our cake stand and fill it with seasonal candy! fill a bowl with sweet hearts or whatever your favorite valentines candy is and try not to eat them all in one day ;)
FLOWERS
(dead giveaway, but my favorite!) faux or real, flowers always bring that cozy feeling around and they smell delicious! simply throw some stems in a vase, and place them anywhere from your kitchen island, coffee table, or front entry console.
TEA TOWELS
I may or may not have an obsession with tea towels. In fact, I have thought about curating my own collection to sell! Such a fun way to add pattern and super easy to switch out every month throughout your home. Recently, I have come across this company that sells the most adorable tea towels!
WREATH RIBBON
I’ve talked about this before around other holidays - but it truly is one of the simplest ways to change up your decor every month / season. (*using my own tip this weekend & searching for ribbon!)
Do you have a wreath on your front door? Add or switch out the ribbon you have now for something pink, red, purple, white, or whatever Valentines color is your favorite!
The Pretty Porch is my go-to for wreaths AND ribbon!
