THIS ROOM. (insert heart eyes)
I can’t say it enough - making little humans dreams come true is one of my favorite things about what i do. Seeing their faces light up & take care of their new space means so much.
For Boston’s room I strategically placed the sentimental pieces to him. You can catch a glimpse throughout his room of his favorite things. Such as the signed football & baseball bat, or his favorite book to read. I loved making it “themed” without being over the top or too committed to a certain sport, age or phase.
Using the simple, modern, sophisticated bedding and patterns did the trick! Then the fun, “temporary” pieces were designed in the accessories! Abby and I fell in love with so many different pieces of this room (for example: THE BASEBALL MIT CHAIR REPLICA?!) as we went through the design process. Fine tuning those details from the pillow textiles to the colored pencil palette placed in the jar is what made this room come to life!
